Healthy Living 2020

Brothers and Sisters, The Healthy Living Requirement has been cancelled for 2020. What does this mean? You will not have to do an online assessment or a physical (we still recommend it). There will be no surcharge in 2021 for anyone for failure to do either.

Make An Educated Decision On Your Retirement

Local 223 and DTE have partnered to educate our members so that they can make educated decision on retirement. The seminars are intended to help guide our members, so that their transition into retirement will be as smooth as possible. Presenters will be on hand to discuss pension options, retiree medical, 401(k) and retirement planning. All information will be the same for both dates. The seminars will start promptly at 9 AM and are planned to end around 1 PM but may be extended to answer questions. Coffee, water, and light snack to be provided in the morning followed by a working lunch around 11:30 AM. DTE Energy Rolls Out Retiree Health Access Program

DTE Energy will roll out the Retiree Health Access program and give details on how money will be deposited into retirees’ accounts to purchase supplemental Medicare insurance. This meeting is designed to educate current and future retirees, that were hired on or before June 6, 2010, that will age into Medicare Licensed agents will be available to help explain plan options for Medicare and purchasing supplemental insurance along with plan usage. The meetings will start promptly at 9 AM and are planned to end around 1 PM but may be extended to answer questions.
