One of Local 223’s members, Darlene Husband, is a breast cancer survivor who has participated in the Susan G Komen 3-Day for 14 years.
Each August she takes a journey to never give up until an end comes to this dreaded disease. In 2020, she plans to walk in Chicago and San Diego in 2020. Once again she asks for your support as she continue to take on this incredible challenge to make an impact in the fight to end breast cancer.
“The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® isn’t just a 60-mile walk over the course of three days—it’s a journey to the end of breast cancer,” said Darlene. “That’s why I’m walking and raising money—to make that goal a reality. I believe “WE CAN, I believe “WE WILL”!
